WOW! TRIBES, DIFFERENCES AND INCLUSION
Our greatest human dilemma: be yourself and fit in. We want to be unique and different and, at the same time we want to be the same and belong. We want co-creation, diversity and inclusion. To make use of differences and see ourselves reflected in agreements. The key to handling diversity and opposing views successfully lies not so much in the differences, but in the dynamic that arises from the differences. Our tendency to seek out people who are a bit like us, and the natural movement towards group think, means that differences and alternative opinions regularly lead to fragmentation and turbulence in the undercurrent. Making good use of the different qualities, talents and perspectives that diversity brings with it demands an inclusive approach is of major importance in our modern, globalised and digitalised society.
Inclusion and connection stand opposed to exclusion and fragmentation. In an inclusive culture, people are key, initiative is rewarded and everyone is valued for who he or she is. This takes fully awareness of the similarities and the embracement of differences. At the same time, conflicts must be tackled vigorously and opposing views valued. How much diversity can you take?
An inspiring keynote with lessons from anthropology about how people shape culture, how to see things differently, inclusion and exclusion, power and love, ranking, flow, sabotage, creativity and diversity. Not merely theoretical but also focused on your organization, your department, your team. Diversity is not an issue, it is a fact. The only question is how we deal with it. Jitske speaks with a light touch about serious themes. She dares you, to be different, to see differnetly. It is possible to opt for less theory in this lecture and make time for 30 minutes of simulation, which we can do with the whole group at the same time.

EXTENSION TO A MASTERCLASS (FROM 3 HOURS TO A DAY)
During a masterclass there is more time for questions and how to translate the topics to your organization. We’ll use our intake session to discuss the focus and the topics that need more exploration. We will make use of components from our Wow Wat een verschil three-day training course. We can also structure this masterclass more strategically: what is needed to make the organization more diverse and more inclusive? This strategic approach is more effective if the decision-makers participate.
