WORKING ACROSS BORDERS, CROSS CULTURES

Working internationally challenges your worldviews, your ways of being and doing. Existing routines are called into question, and feelings can run high. Learning how to behave in a new cultural group is like learning to write with your other hand. The key is in how to deal with the cultural dynamics. A culturally intelligent person has the ability to apply his or her personal style of working and leadership in a way that is appropriate to a specific cultural context. With creativity and pragmatism. With realism and optimism. Celebrating the differences and seeing the commonalities.

Book a keynote or masterclass

EXTEND TO MASTERCLASS (3 HOURS OR A FULL DAY)

During a masterclass there is more time for questions and how to translate the topics to your organization. We’ll use our intake session to discuss the focus and the topics that need more exploration. We’ll mix theoretic insights with interactive reflections and activities. The type of activities and working methods are always tailored to your needs, the cultural preferences of the group and the practical possibilities of the venue. We could work with an impactful simulation game to experience the dynamics in multicultural teams, dialogue further on the raised topics, statement games, and learn from the different people and cultures in the room.

About us

HumanDimensions looks at companies and organizations through the eyes of an anthropologist. How do people shape cultures and cultures shape people? We travel around the world looking for ways of building strong tribes, safe for diversity and ready for change. And we bring our findings to the world of organizing and cooperating through our excellent keynote speeches, master classes and training courses. Deep Democracy. Inclusion. Diversity. Organizational culture. Leadership.
